Spring is finally here

Today was a georgeous day. El and I were trying to find things to do around the house to keep us busy and we decided to make strawberry cup cakes! Ellies first baking journey! I put her up on the counter and i starting to put the ingredients tog.. we ll she found her coloring book and crayons and decided to start to color instead! I started to mix all the ingredients tog. and she decided to try some of the cake batter! Needless to say, she loved it, of course! :) it was time to pour the batter into the cups and before i started i got out a little baby spoon and dipped it in the batter for her to have.... well i should of known it didnt stop there, as i was pouring the mix into the cups she was quickly dipping her spoon into the closest cup she could get to and wld quickly put it in her mouth! it was so cute bec she thought she was being so tricky about it, she ended up getting it all over the counter, her clothes, her face, and everything else in the general area.. even on her coloring book. well then i decided enough was enough so i made her get down and she decided to finish coloring! Not only finish coloring her picture, but also the floor! thank god for washable crayola. :) then we went out side and played ball with lucy and we had our first experience with side walk chalk, yesterday she colored her first picture that was froma strawberry shortcake book, and now today i introduced her to colorful chalk! she decided to chalk on her face, her clothes, the ground, the grill, some rocks and even the sliding door. ha ha... nothing a little water cant get out but it was sure fun watching her create her own little lines, marks and "shapes" and hearing her "ooooo" in a high pitched voice! She is growing up so fast i just wish it wld slow down somedays. Then we decided to go to the grocery store, bec mom was CRAVING HOT DOGS... uhm.... anyone who knows me.. knows that i cannot stand hot dogs.. and well we bought them and brought them home.. when we got home Dad was home and he started the grill, and we played out side for a while longer chalking and throwing the ball for Lucy. I did end up eating a whole hot dog! amazing! jeremiah is very happy bec he never gets to eat hot dogs bec i think they are disgusting.. so far he has liked most of my cravings from this pregnancy :) after dinner we went back outside and dad and el chalked and played some ball and ran around.. she just loves being outside :) today was definitely a long day and i am ready for bed... but i am glad the weather is finally nice so we are not cooped up all day long. Tmw i have my 12 week ob appt. Not sure what all will be happening but not much longer and we will find out the sex of the baby :) so far for a girl we are thinking "Amelia (Millie), still not sure on a middle name" and for a boy its either "Gabriel (Gabe) Forrest-James or Jackson (Jax) Forrest-James" only time will tell! Soon i will be starting a full time job.. still not sure what i think of that! ha ha i just know it has amazing benefits... i sure hope i last a while there! :) they have an amazing day care center there, voted number one in the state, and also have a 13 week paid maternity leave at 100 percent! Most places are only 6 weeks and not even ususally paid 80 percent. So i am hoping i will be able to hold out and keep the job, i heard its a nasty place, but we ll see what happens.

First Blog 3-22-10

Today is March 22nd 2010, this is my first blog.. i will be adding things from the past and hopefully get all caught up to the present in no time, but there is alot to say! As for right now, its Jeremiah, Myself, and our Daughter Ellianna 14 months. We are expecting our second Child on Oct 9th,2010. And we also have an animal.. not a dog.. and animal.. named Lucy, who is very naughty! ha ha! We currently reside in SF SD and own a condo on the SW side of town. Tonight we are just sitting around and enjoying the nice weather, its 55 degrees out and its supposed to snow tmw! Talk about retarded SD weather. Jeremiah Currently is working for the Army as the Leader for the military funeral honors in SD, and has just graduated college with his IT degree. yey! I am currently working at Trade Secret Salon in the mall and am interview for a position at citibank, we ll see how that pans out! Denise DeCurtins is our current sitter for when i am at work, she is awesome! :) she comes to our house and takes care of my little peanut, she also watches Jeremiahs cousin Lukes son so El now has someone to play with during the day :) she loves her cousin time! :) and Loves her denise! El is starting to say all kinds of words and eat all kinds of new foods! she is the most amazing person in the whole world.
